Services

Four things, done properly.

Rubberising is the work people mention when patching has already failed. The other three sit beside it: repair what has come loose, waterproof the flat sections, and start with a free inspection.

01

Roof rubberising

A seamless, flexible rubber coating over rusted or tired sheeting. Seals pinholes, laps and fixings in one continuous skin.

Book a free inspection

Signs you need it

  • Rust streaks running from laps and screw lines
  • Pinhole drips when the rain is heavy
  • Leaks that come back at the same overlaps
  • Patches that have already failed

What we do

  • Look at the whole roof, not the one stain on the ceiling
  • Deal with rust and loose fixings so the coating has a sound surface
  • Rubberise laps, pinholes and fixings as one continuous skin
  • Explain what we found before we put a price to it

What to expect

  • A free inspection, with photos of what is actually wrong
  • A written quote that names the work, not a vague “waterproofing” line
  • The roof kept tidy while we are up there
  • You told what is happening, from the first visit to the last

02

Roof repairs

Loose sheets, cracked tiles, flashings, valleys and ridges. Repaired, not just painted over.

Book a free inspection

Signs you need it

  • A sheet that lifts or drums in the wind
  • Cracked or slipped tiles after a front
  • Daylight at a ridge, or a valley that overflows
  • A leak far from the stain, usually at a flashing

What we do

  • Trace the path the water takes before anyone talks about paint
  • Refix, replace or reseal the part that has actually failed
  • Sort flashings, valleys and ridges rather than coating over them
  • Say so if a small patch will not hold through winter

What to expect

  • An honest look: sometimes the job is smaller than you feared, sometimes it is not
  • A written quote before work starts
  • Neat finishing, and the site left as we found it
  • A clear explanation you can repeat to someone else in the house

03

Waterproofing

Flat roofs, concrete slabs, parapets and problem corners, sealed before the rain does the finding.

Book a free inspection

Signs you need it

  • Ponding on a flat roof or a garage slab
  • A damp parapet or a line where an old coating has cracked
  • A leak where a stoep roof meets the house wall
  • Blisters in a coating that was applied over a dirty surface

What we do

  • Find where the water sits, and where it gets in
  • Prepare the surface. A membrane on dust does not count as waterproofing
  • Seal the slab, the upstands and the corners as one job
  • Name the system on the quote, instead of hiding it under one word

What to expect

  • Photos and a plain account of the cause
  • A written quote with no pressure to decide on the day
  • Work timed, where we can, so the product can cure
  • If it is already leaking, call — do not wait for a perfect month

04

Free inspection

We get up there, show you photos, and give you a clear written quote. No charge, no pressure.

Book a free inspection

Signs you need it

  • A ceiling stain that keeps returning
  • A roof that was patched, and still leaks in winter
  • You want it seen before the next cold front
  • You would rather understand the roof than buy a product name

What we do

  • Arrange a time that suits you. We open at 07:00
  • Get onto the roof where it is safe to do so
  • Photograph the cause, not only the stain
  • Tell you what we would do, and what we would leave

What to expect

  • No charge for the inspection, and no obligation
  • A prompt written quotation
  • Room to think, or to ask a second person
  • A phone call back on the number you leave

If a sheet looks like old asbestos-cement, we stop and say so. We don’t cut or sand it. That part of the roof needs a contractor registered for the work.

Opens 07:00

Before the next front comes through.
